My Journey with Parkinson’s … A Natural Approach: Post 62 … Overcoming fear!

utopiaThe biggest challenge for me on my journey with Parkinson’s is not having Parkinson’s or coping with the symptoms that characterize the condition.  Rather, it is overcoming fear!  It is not experiencing constriction in my throat. It is the fear of losing the ability to swallow.  It is not experiencing loss of mobility. It is the fear of becoming immobile.  It is not the softening of my voice. It is the fear of not being able to speak.  It is not having low blood pressure. It is the fear of my heart giving out.  And these fears can be overwhelming at times!

If you read my second last blog, you’ll know that I recently started experiencing anxiety and panic, common Parkinson’s symptoms. Anxiety and panic are the result of the fear and fear comes from a lack of faith and trust. According to Eckhart Tolle, this happens when we are stuck in ego … that is, when we are mired in the negative thinking of our egoic mind. [Apparently, weak adrenal glands are also a factor in the manifestation of anxiety, but for now, we’re going to focus on the fear aspect of it.]

I thought I had faith and trust [after all, I teach it]. I believe very strongly in God [the universal energy that is everything that exists]. My belief is that God is in everything … God IS everything! This you would think would imply faith and trust. Apparently, not so! [I’m not attempting to be hard on myself. I’m simply explaining my perspective.]

This morning, I decided to watch Joel Osteen. Osteen is an American preacher and televangelist, and the Senior Pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, the largest Protestant church in the United States. I enjoy his sermons. The sermon today, sychronistically enough, was about overcoming fear through empowerment, and the key to empowerment according Osteen is to recognize the divine power within us.

This simple perspective triggered an epiphany: God’s power lies within me [it truly does] and this power can be used to transcend fear because God is pure love and love trumps fear. I can use it to cultivate faith and trust because God wants me to succeed. I can use it change how I feel about my experience with Parkinson’s.

Overcoming fear may be a challenge for me because it has dominated so much of my life, but as Osteen says, ” Act powerful until you feel powerful, because God always has your back.” In addition to acting powerfully there are several other things I will do to let go of fear and empower myself:

  • Live in the present moment
  • Repeat the mantra, ‘the kingdom and power of God lies within me.’
  • Do Emotional Freedom Technique [tapping]
  • Do my healing prayer [see below]
  • Meditate on my oneness with God

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you.” This kingdom is the empowerment that comes comes from living in faith and trust. It is also the peace of mind that comes from surrendering to the experience.

I can’t imagine a better or more powerful feeling than living without fear!

Have an awesomely powerful day!

Healing prayer:

“Thank you God I am for neutralizing the energetic frequency, healing and releasing from my body all unresolved emotional energy, all fear, all faulty beliefs and all aspects of me and all aspects of any other soul, in or out of my bloodline, that needs to be healed and released in order for me to release and let go of the fear I am experiencing. I thank you God I Am for this healing and I thank you for increasing the effectiveness of this healing by 100 times or more.”

  1. Thaks for your post. My son has autism, tourettes, and anxeity (and is a starseed soul). I switched to holistic healthcare when it was time to increase his anxiety medicine and I realized that they were never going to figure out the cause of his illness. He started out a little hyper, and eventually he was the cussing rain man. He didn’t pop out that way.

I learned from a book that all symptoms start in the digestive tract with protein and enzyme deficiency. A few things can cause it, but yeast overgrowth and lack of good bacteria is one. He inherited that from me and I did the same cleansing. We killed yeast and restored good bacteria. That was enough to make all of his symptoms go away. I had to spend another 4 months healing my leaky gut and got rid of arthritis and anxiety caused by leakage impacting itself in the thyroid and hip.

So, we were cured. But then we ate too much sugar and high fructose corn syrup (super sugar) and got all of our symptoms back. So I did it again and looked into heavy metal detoxing.

I found out from a natural health practitioner that all symptoms can be traced to a mineral deficiency. Iodine was removed from bread supplementation in the 1960s (also magnesium and potassium) after a Rockefeller fear-mongered iodine and increased sales on new synthetic hormones. This kicked off our health epidemic.

We did iodine fullfillment therapy, 50mg Lugal’s iodine daily for 3 months, for heavy metal detoxing and low thyroid treatment. 80% of iodine is in the thyroid. I think anything neurological is associated with low thyroid or heavy metal toxicity as a secondary factor. The low proteins and enzymes are primary. Also, I think heavy metals over-stimulate proteins and enzymes causing the enzymes to over-repair healthy tissues and cause damage.

It will cost you between $500 and $1000, including a practitioner’s fee, to detox and balance, plus advice on maintenance or individual detoxing. The Rockefellers are illuminati. They want us sick and they want us to pay them alot of money for it. My advice is to go to the supply and demand marketplace – holistic / natural health care. Good luck to you.

    • Thank you so much for this information Sherry! Interestingly enough, I started taking iodine this weekend. I agree with what you are saying about the thyroid and neurology and about the gut and heavy metal toxicity, which is why I’m detoxing and focusing so heavily on gut health. It may take some time, but I’m confident that it will lead to healing.

      Have an awesomely blessed day!
      Cheers,
      Fred

  2. Living without any fear I think is impossible, still we can what you say. Live in the moment and enjoy this very moment to the full! This moment is all we have no more. Hope you are feeling good !Wishing you a good week Fred!

  3. My mom is 80 yrs old and is suffering from parkinsons.her condition became bad in Feb when her sodium nd potassium levels went down. She recovered but stated having fits and had become schizophrenic. We were forced to have her admitted in a hospice at Chennai, India in April 2014.Being the youngest daughter and with no one else to fall back upon I suffered from depression after admitting her there. She had problems with memory also.
I have done a lot of meditation for her (Sahaja Yoga) and by my divine grace she started to recover. Now Healer is doing Pranic Healing (distant method) and this has given wonderful results. She does not have cramps and her difficulty in breathing and constipation are greatly reduced and she is much better.
People who have faith can start Pranic Healing thru a healer or learn it and do self healing.Pranic healing centres are there all over the world.
Dear Fred ,I shall be very happy if this could help others also.
    Gud wishes

    • Hi. Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear about your mother and I hope she continues to do better! I do a form of metaphysical healing as well and I find it to be very helpful. I urge you to continue to help her with this. Best wishes. Fred

    • Hello C Pushpa. Your Mum is NOT suffering from parkinson’s, she IS suffering however from identifying herself with that experience and allowing herself to identify with it. she needs to experience a 100% mindshift and only when that is done can the recovery process begin but believe me, it really IS possible

  4. Fred – you have given me the best advice I have ever received all be indirectly. I have been in a hospital bed for the last 4 days and possibly solved one of my issues by concouring my fears.

I am also a martial artist a 4th dan black belt in jujitsu.
My neighbour found me flat on the floor unable to get up not enough energy to lift my body up
I had struggled getting up from my bed and chair for over 2 weeks then I was so anxious that I froze and could not more forward

If you have Pd when trying to get up from a chair I concentrated on my legs and would regularly loose my balance and topple over – not any more
I place my feet together then my arms go into a fighting stance in the sitting position. Then in one motion I stand throw the punch focusing on my fist the legs follow and I stand with my feet together

Then I can move forward throwing a right punch . Ii have controlled my fear and walk normally
    I would welcome your comments

    • Thank you for your message John! I am sorry to hear that you are in the hospital and I hope you are able to go home soon.

I have written many posts about fear because I believe it is at the root of Parkinson’s disease. But please know that it is possible to recover our health. We just need to return the body to homeostasis.

I urge you to read my protocol and let me know if you have any questions.

      Best wishes!
      Fred
