This morning I sat on the lawn, bathing in sunlight while enjoying a bowl of oatmeal! Surrounded by bees busily pollinating the wildflowers that border our yard, they were unconcerned about my presence! It was a delightful moment and I felt awesome!
Conflict arises when one party tries to impose its will on another party and the second party resists, or worse still, counters by trying to impose its will on the first party.
We are presently having such an experience on the road we live on!
This morning I discovered some fresh raspberries growing in the raspberry bush beside our driveway! I was delighted, thinking they were done a month ago! I ate them straight off the vine! They were juicy and delicious and I felt awesome!
This morning I went for a paddle in my kayak! The lake was perfectly calm, the surface like glass! It was a serene moment and I felt awesome!
As you probably are aware, I believe that bodywork is an important part of the recovery process. On Sunday I got to experience it firsthand! My right hand was trembling, so the chiropractor, using her activator, released tension in a specific spot near my elbow and the trembling stopped immediately! It was the first time I had experienced such a direct response! It was an amazing moment and I felt awesome!
A couple of afternoons ago I was out on the lawn, enjoying the sunshine and practising Qigong. In the middle of my practice, a tiny hummingbird zipped by on its way to check out the flowers by our deck! I am so awed by these brave little creatures! It was a moment of admiration and I felt awesome!
This morning I sat on the dock for a period of time with my legs dangling in the water! Although chilly, it was quite pleasant! Before long, a Northern Oriole appeared. I watched quietly as the tiny, orange breasted bird flitted from tree to tree. It was a peaceful moment and I felt awesome!
This morning, a fawn suddenly appeared in our yard, as if it materialized out of nowhere. I was outside preparing kindling for a fire and it didn’t see me. Oddly, it sneezed and scratched for a couple of minutes. And then, as if suddenly realizing, where is mom, it hopped off into the bush! It was a beautiful moment and I felt awesome!
Today I sat [inside of course] looking out at the lake, watching the flashes of lightning and listening to the cracks and rumble of thunder! And though my mind wandered, I felt awesome!
