  1. I too have Parkinson’s. My name is Antonio Flores and I share your pain. You can read my profile in facebook. I was diagnosed at the age of 50. I was an ESL teacher and a football and track and field coach. I spent 36 years having fun in my field. I also exercise plenty but I don’t sleep well. We have many things in common.
Talk to you later my friend. We have a long journey.

    • Hi Antonio. Thank you so much for your message. As a whole, I sleep really well, but when I do have difficulty sleeping, I just start repeating the 23rd Psalm and I fall asleep in no time.

Please send me the link to your fb page.

      Cheers for now,
      Fred

    • Thank you Hans! Yes, that was my intention, to create a mantra that we could use in order to bring peace to the planet.

I’ve had to put the guitar on the shelf for now, but I fully intend to get back to it. I do play the mandolin [somewhat slowly] because the strings can be fretted with two fingers.

      Have an awesome day!
      Fred

    • Hi Cindy. I’m sorry to hear about your father, but please be reassured that it is possible for him to recover. It is not too late. The brain can be repatternered. I urge you to read the book by Norman Doidge [the brain’s way of healing]. It is just a matter of getting the mind and body out of the fight or flight [fear] mode so that it will stop producing adrenaline and cortisol and start producing dopamine and serotonin. Encourage your father to immerse himself in exercise, laughter and tranquility.
