Healing Parkinson’s Disease Naturally – A Journey of Love #3 … Different Drum!

different drumDifferent Drum is a song written by Mike Nesmith of The Monkeys in 1965 and made popular by The Stone Ponies in 1967, featuring an up-and-coming singer named Linda Ronstadt. Ms. Ronstadt, as you may know, was diagnosed with PD a few years ago.

Marching to a different drum is an expression usually referring to someone who sees the world in a different way, who is unconventional, a nonconformist. It seems that believing it is possible to recover from Parkinson’s disease makes a person a nonconformist. It makes them a marcher to a different drum!

The medical community unanimously believes that it is not possible to recover from Parkinson’s, as do the majority of people who have been diagnosed with the condition. It is the reason, I believe, why so many people diagnosed with PD, experience anxiety.

I know of at least five people who have fully recovered from the symptoms of PD, so it is definitely possible to recover.

The key to recovery, is threefold: belief, the right protocol for you and love!

Believe you can recover, develop and implement the right protocol for you [check out my protocol] and immerse yourself in love … loving kindness, loving compassion, loving generosity, loving acceptance, loving trust, loving forgiveness, loving gratitude and loving enthusiasm.

March to a different drum, be a rebel and feel the exhilaration!

  1. Good advice for any diseases that cure is impossible yet go through recovery. Love this kinds of song and singer. We don’t have this kind of entertainment wearing right clothing, barefooted and beating to a different drum.

  2. Hi Fred,

I read your posts, I also have Parkinson’s, diagnosed in 2013. Last time when I read your post you said that you were going on Carbidopa levodopa medication. I was wondering how is this working out for you?

I tried many natural treatments, nothing seemed to work, I finally got so bad that I started medication. I’m taking 3.5 tablets of Carbidopa levodopa CR , spaced out throughout the day. I am also taking B1 vitamin in thiamine HCL form. The thiamine HCL seems like it’s the only one from all the natural supplements that has made a great difference in my life.

You can Google Doctor Constantini and his work with the Parkinson’s people and the thiamine HCL.

Have a good day Mary Gutshall

    • Thank you Mary! So far, the medication has been working quite well. I’m taking two tablets, three times a day. I’m aware of Dr. Constantini’s vitamin B1 protocol, but haven’t yet tried it. Please keep us posted on how you are doing with the protocol.

  3. I’m marching along with you Fred! And I think as Camus once said, “Don’t walk ahead of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend!” Destination: healing!

  4. Ive just had a short break from Thiamine HCL, as I was n’t feeling any benefit, but just started it again yesterday. I dont think I’ve found my optimum dose yet. But will keep trying, what other option is there ?

  5. Your blog is soul moving. My friend whose husband has PD was here today. She doesn’t have a computer so we have conversations about your posts. He is eighty-three and is remarkable. Belief, Protocol, and Love. The best medicine there is as it is the foundation for any healing. I became acquainted with your blog as I was searching for natural ways to heal Parkinsons Disease for them but it has helped me too. What you have to say about healing is universal and touches the soul.
