I’m happy to tell you that I woke up this morning feeling better than I have felt in a long time. Actually, I noticed I was much feeling better after my Bowen appointment yesterday.
When I arrived for my appointment, I was feeling intense mental anxiety and physical tension, a carryover from my trip last week. Sofia [the therapist] said she would do some techniques intended to calm me down, and it worked, because normally I feel quite out of sorts when the sessions are finished, I suppose, due to the shifting energies that Bowen stimulates.
For the moment, my balance and movement are much better, I’m experiencing less freezing, my voice is stronger, I am mentally clearer and I have much more energy. It’s an awesome feeling!
What I love most about the way I am feeling is that it confirms my belief that this state is possible, and once I figure out how to dissolve the detrimental unconscious beliefs that are triggering the fight or flight response that keeps me in a perpetual state of intense symptoms, the symptoms will disappear … for good!
In the meantime, I will enjoy this while it lasts, because I know it can change quickly with an errant thought or experience. I’m not being negative, just realistic.
