Healing Parkinson’s Disease Naturally – Recovery Inspiration #94 … Dissolve the pain-body!

a new earthI recently decided to reread, A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle. It is my favourite book, and it has helped me immensely in understanding the root of, and coping with, this neurological condition I am experiencing.

The book discusses at length, the pain-body, which is the accumulated unresolved emotional pain that contributes to the development of disease.

According to Tolle, we are actually born with a pain-body, inherited from our parents, our bloodline, race, culture, gender, etc. The emotional memory [energy] is stored in our limbic brain, cell tissue and muscle facia. And each time we have an experience that results in unresolved emotional pain, more emotional memory is collected and our pain-body grows.

Our pain-body can be activated by a myriad of thoughts and experiences, and when activated, causes us to feel fear, anger, rage, jealousy, shame, bitterness, etc. Activated often enough, it eventually leads to disease.

I think anyone experiencing the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, anyone who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s, has a pain-body that is in a continual state of activation, putting us in a continual state of fear, causing us to experience a perplexing variety of symptoms. Anyone who is experiencing anxiety can attest to this.

Tolle advises us to dissolve the pain-body through conscious Presence. In other words, the awareness of our pain-body’s existence and the awareness that it has been activated, will eventually dissolve it. You may find it helpful to have a conversation with it. Thank it for what you have learned from it. Also, because it is physically held in the body, you may also find it necessary, as I do, to express your feelings, by screaming, cursing, crying, chopping wood [I find this particularly helpful], or any other effective form of expression.

I also like to enhance the dissolving process by reciting my healing mantra:

Thank you Spirit and thank you Higher Self for severing and dissolving the synapses and neural pathways, neutralizing the energetic frequency, healing and releasing from my body and from my being, all the fear, anger, detrimental thoughts and beliefs, and all of the shame, grief, guilt, resentment, bitterness and unresolved emotional energy at the root of the trembling [or any other symptom] I am experiencing, and I thank you for this healing and I thank you for increasing the effectiveness of this healing by 100 times or more. Hallelujah!

It has been extremely helpful for me to understand the presence and role of the pain-body in the expression of disease [and it’s corresponding symptoms] in my body, so I am placing a renewed emphasis on dissolving it through this awareness!

If you haven’t already done so, I urge you to read, A New Earth!

And have a wonderful day!

  1. Hi Fred – I’ve read A New Earth and think it is a great book. At your suggestion, I may just read it again!

Tolle’s use of the term pain body seems particularly appropriate for those of us with Parkinson’s symptoms, because the experience of emotional pain or discomfort immediately triggers physical symptoms in our body like trembling or mobility issues. Separating from the pain body and becoming the conscious observer feels like a good approach to ultimately healing. It takes a lot of focus and determination because the pain body is rooted so deeply in our being.

I think the root of my PD symptoms is fear associated with my pain body. The fear caused me to shut myself down to some vital aspects of living fully, so now when I feel my symptoms flaring up I take it as a challenge not to shut down in fear but to keep opening up to life. Opening up physically as much as possible such as swinging my arms up as high as I can, letting out a celebratory yell or one of your hallelujahs, or if I am reclining simply opening my heart to the beauty of the world.

My experience has taught me that energy breeds more energy that is similar in nature, so if I respond to symptoms with a positive action or attitude, more positive energy arises. Similarly if I take a negative action like shutting down or feeling fearful, I spiral inward and feel worse. Taking a positive action isn’t always the easiest thing for me. Typically it can be quite challenging which is why think I developed the symptoms in the first place.

Thanks for reminding me of A New Earth! Let’s have it be part of our rebirth!

    • Just before reading your message Jeff, I was thinking about all the abundance in my life [kindness, friendship, nature], and I was reminded that abundance is not something separate from us, it is part of us, because we are part of the whole, part of the oneness. We either attract or repel abundance through our thoughts, emotions, beliefs and actions, and this includes good health.

You are right about stepping in to fear. Hiding from it only causes it to grow, whereas stepping into it causes it to shrink. My son has a philosophy, when faced with a decision, if one of the options requires him to face fear, he always chooses that option because he doesn’t want to live in fear.

      • Fred – Your son’s perspective on fear sounds a lot like my son’s. He often talks about stepping out of his comfort zone to challenge himself to grow. Sounds like we’ve taught our kids well!

One other thing I thought about lately is the prayers and mantras we each recite to call out our higher selves and heal. I agree with Janice Walton-Hadlock that ultimately we need to evolve our own prayers to heal. Yet you’ve been courageous enough to share some of yours, Fred. I find them instructive, inspirational, and healing! Here’s one that has come to me recently that I find comfort in reciting:

Thank you God for the smile on my face,
        the abundance in my life,
the healing spirit in my soul,
        the love in my heart,
        the contentedness in my bones,
and the restorative neurogenesis in my brain!

      • I don’t mind at all! I’m glad you feel it’s beneficial.

If I need a quick mood shift sometimes I shorten to “God thank you for the smile on my face!” Immediately I feel my spirit and qface lightening.

  2. Hi Fred, thank you for your post & blog! It is very inspiring! I’m thinking of booking a treatment with Noel Batten from Australia. He treats people with ms & pd and gets them into remission in 5 – 7 days, sometimes longer. I’m wondering if you’ve heard of him & what your thoughts may be? He has a lot of videos on YouTube.

    • Thank you for your message and kind words Tina! I would urge you to be extremely cautious with Noel Batten. I have never heard of him, but I truly don’t believe it is possible to put someone in a state of remission from MS or PD in 5 to 7 days. There is just no way this is possible. If it were, he would be the most popular and well-known person on the planet. Having said that, I am interested to know what your experience is with him.

      • In my opinion ( sorry for intruding) there is no difference between Dr Farias , Noel , Howard or Bianca . It sounds harsh but it is true .
But you will never know if it will work for you if you don’t try .
Next option is not to try and save money ( maybe you can take it with you on your future trips – when that time comes. Last time when I’ve checked, they don’t let you do that but maybe you are special?).

  3. Hi, the Russian translation is inaccurate. Actually, the drug is a molecule called polyprenol extracted from pine needle ( hence association with turpentine ) and the technology belongs to an Australian biotech company called Solagran. Polyprenol/Dolichol plays a major role in cell metabolism.

    • Are you saying that I should do it ?
I have already checked about that terpentine but they don’t sell it in Australia plus it cannot be imported as flammable substance.

Noel Butten is on my bucket list too and just to inform you that I was using ivermectin ( from India) for one month and nothing . On a day when I was taking ivermectin, I would shake more but day after much less and that is all . No worms 🐛 that I could see .

    • Good work Jimmy . Few good books there to read . Guy from the video is a good fighter . Grate to have him . I remember his previous videos and I can say that he has improved a lot . Hopefully it’s not only medication.

I think , I will be able to get terpentine ( must be a special one ) – God help me with that experiment.

    • I can tell you that ivermectin and pine bark supplements greatly reduce tremor but coffee does not ( as I am experiencing at the moment)- 😓

  4. Hi Fred, I haven’t touched base for awhile but this is perfect timing. Became acquainted with Tolle years ago when he and Oprah did several shows on the New Earth. I love what you wrote about the pain body and the conscious presence to eventually dissolve it. My friend and I were talking the other day about her husband who has Parkinson’s. He is 82 and I am amazed. He has the tremors and such but somehow controls them because he is working for a Farm Supply Company hauling fertilizer to fields during planting season and wouldn’t have a job if they knew.. Gets up at 3 a.m and works until 7 or 8 at night. Comes home exhausted. When he’s not doing that work he is busy doing something else. Betty thinks that is what keeps him going. I will share this post with her. I love your prayer and Jeff’s. I like to reminded to utter thanksgiving in the moments for all the blessings. I think the power of the spirit can help move mountains within and without. Take care. Thankful for your blog, your books, and your honesty.

    • Thank you so much! I really appreciate your eloquently insightful comments! Quite frankly, I don’t know how your friend does it, at his age and with his health condition! I really wish him well! Cheers!
