Healing Parkinson’s Disease Naturally – Recovery Inspiration #79 … An amusing moment!

partridgeYesterday, when I was leaving the butcher shop, I spotted a partridge in a field next door trying to get through a wire fence. The butcher shop is out in the country so it wasn’t exactly an unusual situation! The hapless grouse was patiently walking up and down the fence, periodically walking into it, looking for an opening! This would’ve been a beautiful opportunity for animal voiceovers! Unfortunately, there wasn’t a big enough gap in the fencing for him to fit through. I was going to walk over and suggest that he fly over it but I didn’t want to insult his intelligence. So I sat there for a few moments amused at his predicament. Then, convinced he would eventually figure it out, I smiled and drove off! Nature, the natural healer!

  1. Maybe the joke is on you ? I see it as the most beautiful message from God.
“ Don’t look for the opening in the fence. Fly over it “.
    What do you think?

      • Being the bird inside the box you don’t have much chance to get out and you can only think about it but being behind the fence if you distance yourself from the fence you have some chance to fly over .
All this thinking about birds and boxes is making me hungry 🍗

      • You are funnnnny – charmed life and PD in the same sentence.
Talking about psychological disorders and diet – I’ve finished reading “Nutrient Power” William J Walsh – Psychiatrist . Well worth reading. He was testing nutrient balance in few thousand patients and talking how different nutrients react with different people and how too much or too little of some nutrient can have disastrous consequences. He is careful not to offend establishment but in between the lines he is saying that number of hard mental disorders have recovered after proper supplementation. Good book , especially when we know the role of psychology/.stress in creation of PD .
Over the years I had chance to see words like PD and schizophrenia very close together. That scared the ……… out of me .

  2. Jimmy, I honestly appreciate efforts that you are putting into your research. You constantly coming with the new findings. Somehow ( even that I don’t know you) I feel that you have much more to offer or that you have more knowledge/ finding then what you are giving to us . Please continue your excellent work. If I am not wrong you supplied information/ opinion that PD is symptom of too much restricted dopamine. That is the eye opening theory ( for me) and that is exactly how I feel . We need more serotonin ( happy hormones) to open dopamine supply line. How else to explain those recoveries after excersise , “ placebo reactions “, that I can play basketball but have difficulty to walk and numerous other reactions that don’t add up with established theory of PD . I think that for us is important to do exercises that we love to do and at the same time realise that all other restricted movements are restricted due to fear and negative mind ( caused by inadequate diet and surrounding).
I appreciate Rebecca and her experimental soul ( same as myself).
Don’t forget literally section of this blog – they are real heart and soul and connective tissue of this blog . I can see them as the real foundation ( even that Shakespear and I have large disagreements). Sometimes I call them Fred’s groupies / fans club 🙀but I honestly appreciate their value and probably feel envious because I cannot express myself in such way .

Talking about exercise- if you think that you are having difficulty swallowing they recommend to sticking your finger in the throat and cause gauging reflex to activate vagus . I think that is not good thing to do. What I did is to loudly pronounce sound as GA GA . KA KA and all other combinations of sounds that include engaging the back of your throat . After just a week of loud exercises ( in a car ) I never had a problem with swallowing again ( unless I was scaring myself and playing with that thought).
    I hope it helps .

  3. thank yyou BRATZO……I AM SURE THIS IS A CURABLE ILLNES AND I LIKE PEOPLE HERE BECCAUSEE THHINK OUT THE BOX… .YOU ARE RIGHT……….IS AMAIZING HOW DOES BODY WORKS……..WHEN I WAS YOUNG I WAS FOOTBALL PLAYER I STILL PLAYING FOOTBALL BUT I CANT WALK .

  4. WHEN I SAY PEOPLE HERE I MEAN IN THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE THANK YOU VERY MUCH FRED ……….AND THANK YOU BRATZO YOU ARE VERY SMART GUY AND VERY FUNNY……..

  5. We will win Jimmy. There is no other way . They say “ when you are in a war against yourself the best thing is to lay down the arms “ , I would add “ and accept yourself and life with plenty love and humour “. We should just relax and do things that we enjoy . That will wake up our dopamine. We were too strict on our self instead of accepting life as a joke made by God ( as it is ). I have opinion that PD people are special and because they were always thinking about the others ( to please others as Fred often puts it ) this is what happened. Howard Shifke in his book mentions that one day he made a decision that he will not have PD because of anyone. Soon after he was fine . One oncologist in his book writes that everyone should ask yourself three questions:
1 what happened year or so before first sign of disease
2 what that disease means to you
3 why you have to have it

    Think about that
    Blessings

I sense one key question to answer is “what resonates with you?”
