Healing Parkinson’s Disease Naturally – Recovery Inspiration #58 … The sounds of nature!

red squirrelA few minutes ago I sat quietly outside, just listening. A crow high above, seagulls off in the distance, a red squirrel bouncing through the dry autumn leaves, two ducks winging through the air, crickets! Wow! The sounds of the universal-energetic-intelligence! Nature! So beautiful! So serene! I felt the tension in my body dissipating, my eyes lighting up, a smile crossing my lips! I was listening to the sounds of nature and I felt awesome!

  1. Ups and downs as the stress of my divorce ebbs and flows but more ups than downs and a nice and surprising decrease in my left leg symptoms by about 90% – almost normal there now. On the plus note I found the most beautiful little rental house to live in with truly magical gardens and a wonderful landlord (she works with plants for a living and this was her sanctuary for over 10 years) and move in two weeks! I’ve been going over every day to slowly move the things that are delicate and to bask in the healing energy of the plants and trees! Thanks for asking Fred!

    • Glad to hear you’re doing well, Lena! What were the symptoms in your leg and what did you do to heal them? I ask because my right leg tends to drag and is quite a bit weaker than my left. My right side in general is less mobile that the left.

      • I had your typical rigidity, tremor, slowness, not lifting leg as high plus functional paralysis. Initially I could not move any of my toes except slight movement of my big one. Now I can move them all but not at 100% movement yet and it takes more concentration than my right half.

I think the “forced walking” I do to music makes the biggest difference. https://pathwithpaws.com/blog/2017/06/04/2-rehabilitation-from-parkinsons-disease-music-is-magical/
I tend to do 40 minutes of that plus two 20 minute dog walks.I also do 20 reps of kicking out from the knee and also of doing a high step in place as many times as I can remember throughout the day. A lot of arm stuff also. Yoga, dance, movement, stretching every night. I also do a lot of Janice fear work and talking to God. As long as fear doesn’t get in the way I improve.
